Yeah, still ‘fat’ but NOT back to obese… yes! I went to Founder’ s Circle and did not gain any weight. Few reasons: I missed some of the scheduled meals doing other things and *yikes* there was no junk food available! One dinner didn’t meet my ‘no food touching’ needs so I didn’t eat it and the last night was pizza did not look right to me so my fault, whatever. Believe me, I’m NOT wasting away! I’m between 178 & 179 (depending on which scale likes me).
But there were my good and caring Candian friends who were worried about my eating habits but I assured them… "do I LOOK like I’m anorexic?!!!!!!!!" A successful Anorexic is NOT 30 lbs. overweight! I can’t even catch a decent stomach virus or a parasite or anything.
Anyway, I have been so tired trying to get everything done in my day that I am not getting enough rest to get a good workout, but I am going to the gym and using the eliptical… however lazy my pace. I need to keep the habit of going every day. I know you don’t need to go every day, but I DO. It is my ‘all or nothing’ OCD thing. If I try to go three times a week, I will have an excuse not to. If I make it a part of my daily ritual and make time EVERY DAY I will do it. So, again, it’s in my head but it works.
Come to think of it, I don’t think they had OCD (or they bothered diagnosing it) when I was a child. They labeled you a brat (and beat you accordingly). Ah the ‘good old days’. Kids THINK they have rights now. Mine have the ‘right to remain silent’ or they may be beaten. And to make matters worse, there are people *teaching* their kids that it is wrong for parents to beat their kids, can you imagine that?
Sarah got in trouble for her awful messy room and we aren’t paying for this ‘online art’ program so she went to school and (probably) cried and played martyr to her friends. Her ‘boyfriend’ (don’t get me started with "Prince Charming") asked her if she was being abused (by my husband who *yelled* at her, for Pete’s sake). She actually thought that was funny and told him, "no, it’s my Mom you have to watch out for!" Yeah, take that to heart buddy–watch out for the mother.
I have been unsuccessful in getting rid of Prince Charming by the way. His father called to see what my problem was, his family wanted to meet Sarah and they have Sunday dinner. Um, no. I asked him if he knew I did not approve of dating at 13 and that his son already took the liberty of kissing her. He did not know that (and was not concerned). Anyway, I am not approving of any ‘date’ type interaction to support my NO DATING
until you are 30 rule. Sarah was afraid I got Charming in trouble… I assured her that a slap on the back and ‘good going’ was probably in order after I hung up. I can tell the type.
I am getting heavy pressure from Sarah to get to know him, but I’ve held her off with perhaps next spring if he’s still hanging around. I pray that they have a fight like any other self-respecting middle schooler, or their friends will hate each other and nature will take its course. Unfortunately, she is WAY too easy going and it appears that he is as well and seem incapable of arguing. So far. I must
scheme think on it some more.
